Max participated in Rays 2019, during which he wrote a report on fluid dynamics and its application in environmental technology. He was also a finalist in the science competition: “Utställningen Unga Forskare” and he has a long experience in project management. Max studied at Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium Odenplan and now runs a company within the field of environmental technology. During his free time he enjoys coffee and learning new languages.

Ann-Kristin Malz

Ann-Kristin has not participated in Rays herself but has been involved with The Swedish Federation of Young Scientists, through which she got to know about Rays. She was also involved in organising Rays last year. Ann-Kristin is currently studying her third year of theoretical physics with astrophysics at the University of Glasgow. Besides science, she loves reading books, does horseback riding and dances.

Markus Swift

Markus participated at Rays 2018 and conducted a project about modelling of infectious diseases. Apart from this, he has participated in the mathematics-, programming and physics finals in Sweden during highschool. Currently he is a second year mathematics student at the University of Cambridge. During his spare time he likes to cook and travel.

Miranda Carlsson

Miranda participated in Rays 2017 with a project about gene expression, which offered great insight into both the topic and scientific research in general. She is currently studying her second year of biotechnology at Lund University where she also gets to pursue her interest in chemistry. In addition to science, she enjoys everything related to creating, cooking and music.
