Kathy participated in Rays 2017 with a project about hematology, which developed her interest in medicine. She is currently studying her second year of medicine at the Karolinska Institute. Besides studying, Kathy enjoys reading books, everything from classic literature to books about different scientific topics.

Philip participated in Rays 2016 with a project in mathematics. This opened his eyes to the subject and he is currently studying mathematics with a focus on statistics at Imperial College London. In addition to mathematics, Philip is very interested in music and enjoys playing classical guitar in his free time.

Ann-Kristin has not participated in Rays herself but is involved with The Swedish Federation of Young Scientists, where she currently is Head of Finance for The Exhibition of Young Scientists 2020, through which she got to know about Rays. Ann-Kristin is presently studying theoretical physics with astrophysics at the University of Glasgow. Besides science, she loves reading books, does horseback riding and dances.

Hannah participated in Rays 2018 with a project about wood chemistry. She got very inspired to continue doing research and is now studying engineering physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In addition to developing her big interest in programming, physics and technology every day, she spends her free time listening to and making music and showing tourists around Stockholm.
