Sweden's best summer research academy
Rays is a summer research academy for students in the second year in high school that have a great interest in the natural sciences, technology and mathematics.
The research projects are presented during a scientific seminar at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm where friends, family and researchers gather. You can watch presentations from previous years on Youtube.
The projects are also presented in the form of a scientific article, a number of these can be found here.
Rays is held during June and July in beautiful Strängnäs. During four intensive weeks the participants will learn more about scientific methods, be able to conduct a scientific project within a relevant research field and to present their results during a seminar.
Apart from their research, the students will meet fellow peers with a similar aptitude for science, and thus grow on a personal level.
Rays is completely free for all our
participants. To be able to organize a research camp of uncompromising quality we need partners to support our vision. We are very grateful for those who have chosen to collaborate with us, as they enable us to run Rays every year.
We collaborate with companies, foundations and organisations to deliver a fantastic experience for all our participants. Click here to read more.
